A joint is the point where two or more bones are connected together. Keeping your joints healthy allows you to run, walk, jump, play sports and do everything in life that you like to do, with ease. A balanced diet, keeping active, avoiding injuries and getting plenty of rest will help you to stay healthy and keep your joints in good condition too.
Regular exercise helps keep the muscles around your joints strong and working the way they should. However, be sure to invest in the proper protective equipment to avoid injuring your joints when exercising or playing sports. Remember that injuries to your knee early in life can lead to osteoarthritis later on, so wear protective pads (if appropriate) and shoes that fit well.

A handful of cherries, especially a tart variety such as Montmorency, or a glass of cherry juice every day may be beneficial.
