Member of The Gym Hounslow since 2009

I joined The Gym Hounslow about three years ago. I was looking for a gym that would be more accessible; as a wheelchair user straightforward access and spacious rooms are vital considerations for me. I’d been a member of other fitness clubs before, but in my experience nothing compares to The Gym. It’s a big space, fully wheelchair accessible and the staff are extremely helpful.

The affordable membership was another factor in joining The Gym; as I’m unemployed most other fitness centres would be too expensive to keep up membership. I’ve recommended The Gym to my friends as it’s certainly lived up to my expectations. It’s been vital in my training – this year I am representing Team GB at the 2012 Paralympic Games.
